Beautiful Addiction
This project started out as a photo series capturing drugs through the eyes of an addict. The idea was to make addiction a thing of beauty: I wanted to make drugs appear to be a warm, ad inviting concept. This idea brought me to convert the photo series into an ad campaign for drug awareness, which I decided to go ahead and design for the organization, Above the Influence. I also used the organization’s aesthetic that focuses on unusual visuals, statistics, quotes, and shocking imagery to grab people’s attention.
